1. About Dealer Guide
DealerGuide is an independent vehicle sourcing and introduction service. We assist customers by sourcing vehicles, facilitating pricing discussions, and introducing customers to third-party providers such as vehicle dealerships, finance brokers, insurers, and related service providers where appropriate. Dealer Guide acts on your behalf as an intermediary. We do not sell vehicles or provide finance or insurance, and we do not offer financial, legal, or insurance advice.
2. Cost of the service
DealerGuide is free for customers to use. You will not be charged a fee for engaging our service. In some circumstances, Dealer Guide may receive a referral fee or commission from third-party providers if a transaction proceeds. This does not affect our obligation to act transparently or the independence of our service.
3. Third-party introductions
As part of our service, Dealer Guide may introduce you to third-party providers, including but not limited to vehicle dealerships, finance brokers, insurers, and other service providers. Any agreement you enter into, including for the purchase of a vehicle, finance, insurance, or related services, is solely between you and the relevant third party. Dealer Guide is not a party to those agreements and does not control, endorse, or warrant the products, services, pricing, advice, availability, or conduct of third-party providers.
4. No guarantees or assurances
DealerGuide does not guarantee vehicle availability, pricing, savings, delivery timeframes, finance approval, finance terms, insurance availability, insurance pricing, or insurance acceptance. All outcomes are subject to change and depend on factors outside our control, including market conditions, lender and insurer criteria, and decisions made by third-party providers.
5. Information provided by you
DealerGuide relies on the information you provide to perform its services. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. Inaccurate or incomplete information may limit or affect the outcomes we are able to assist with, and Dealer Guide is not responsible for any resulting consequences.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dealer Guide is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from your use of our service, your reliance on information provided by third parties, or any agreement or transaction you enter into with a third party. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Privacy, information, and consent
DealerGuide collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in accordance with the Dealer Guide Privacy Policy.
By using our service, you acknowledge that personal information is collected directly from you or incidentally in the course of providing the service; is used for the primary purpose of providing vehicle sourcing and introduction services and related secondary purposes you would reasonably expect; and may be disclosed to relevant third-party providers such as dealerships, finance brokers, insurers, or service providers where reasonably necessary to deliver the service. Dealer Guide handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. 8. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
DealerGuide may update, amend, replace, or remove these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes take effect immediately once published on our website. Continued use of Dealer Guide constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as updated.
